Rainbow Ark is a privately run animal sanctuary in Willington Crook, Durham, UK, which has been running for 20 years. Sanctuary owner Paula Campbell provides a loving home to over 200 rescued animals.
Tower Hill Stables Animal Sanctuary

Tower Hill Stables Sanctuary is a privately run sanctuary in Essex, UK, set up and run single-handedly by Fiona Oakes. They provide care and a home for life for over 400 rescued animals, both domestic and ex-farm.
Hillfields Animal Sanctuary

Hillfields Animal Sanctuary is situted in Bromsgrove, UK and is home to around 300 rescued animals. The animals at Hillfields have all been rescued from cruelty and neglect or taken in when their owners simply did not want them anymore.

The Britches campaign supports primate rescue and rehabilitation worldwide in memory of Britches the macaque monkey, originally rescued from a laboratory where he was being used as part of a sensory-deprivation study.
Save the Chimps

Save the Chimps provide a permanent sanctuary for the lifelong care of chimpanzees rescued from research laboratories, entertainment and the pet trade. Their Great Chimpanzee Migration campaign currently relocates chimpanzees from New Mexico to permanent sanctuary in Florida.
Save Lolita

Lolita is a 38 year old captive Orca living at the Miami Seaquarium.
Since her capture in 1970 she has been kept in a tank that is illegal by the Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) standards for size requirements. There is a campaign underway calling for her retirement.
