Meet the EVOLVE! Team:
James Gorman, Director
James is a retired spinal specialist and has first-rate knowledge of the
human body, having also taught anatomy and physiology for many years. He now
lectures internationally on the nutritional benefits of a plant-based diet,
in schools, colleges and Universities and does regular talks on advanced
nutrition for personal trainers, bodybuilders and athletes here in the UK.
James has been a compassionate vegan for most of his life.
James explains in his own words why he is vegan:
"I am vegan for one simple reason and that is the cruelty and violence
that is inflicted upon animals at the hands of human beings. I don't want to
be a part of it and I certainly don't want to fund it. While the health
benefits of veganism are many, they are to me merely a bonus as I would
choose a compassionate plant-based diet even if it was as unhealthy as
eating meat and dairy."
If you have any specific questions about health, fitness and nutrition,
particularly relating to a vegan diet, you can contact James personally at:
Rolanda Ware, Director
Rolanda has a background in food creativity and graphical design and also has experience in vegan catering and fundraising for animals in need. She organises food events, devises recipes and enjoys showing how delicious and versatile a plant-based diet can be through cookery demonstrations and vegan cake give-aways. She is also responsible for producing a variety of colourful campaign material.
Rolanda explains in her own words why she is vegan:
"I believe that being vegan is the most morally responsible, respectful and progressive thing any of us can do for the lives of animals, our own health and the future of our planet. I urge all non-vegans to consider the consequences of their actions, renounce their violent habits and let their thinking truly evolve. Personally I have never looked back since I made the informed choice to stop contributing to animal exploitation. Making the change to a cruelty-free lifestyle is not difficult these days and the rewards are huge."
If you have any specific questions about food events, including plant-based cookery and recipes, or about campaign resources, you can contact Rolanda personally at:
