Ignorance
The choice to ignore the truth even when presented with it. It is a conscious decision to deny or turn away from the truth in favour of more trivial pursuits. Ignorance cannot be remedied by anyone other than the person who holds it, for any attempt to change his mind only reinforces his decision.
What is it that makes us human? Is it the ability to walk on two
feet, to think and reason? For many eons,
humanity has slumbered in an unconscious state, and has come
close to destroying its own habitat forever because of it. We have strayed deep into a prison of our own making,
and have somehow managed to cut off all traces of our true origins and destiny. Our very make-up has
been distorted, and we are slowly engineering ourselves towards extinction. We have now reached a point
however, when we are realising that we need to awaken from this deep slumber - before it's too late - and for the
sake of our planet and all life upon it, become the conscious, morally responsible and compassionate beings
that we are all capable of evolving into.
Who We Are
EVOLVE! is a non-profit organisation dedicated to embracing and expanding the vision of animal liberation through promotion of lifestyle changes that in turn benefit human health and the environment, as well as the lives of millions of exploited animals worldwide.
Our campaigns focus on educating the public about the many benefits of a plant-based diet with the aim of stimulating a more responsible attitude towards our planet, improving general health, and also advancing ethics through encouragement of a more considerate and evolved regard for animals; thus elevating the human race as a whole.
We produce animal-free recipe sheets and offer tips on healthful cooking. We also provide educational talks on health and nutrition, do street stalls with free food giveaways and offer cookery demonstrations in the South of England area. Other activities include distribution of literature to increase awareness and ultimately reduce animal suffering, as well as an ongoing project to develop more widespread ethical eating habits by promoting vegan food alternatives in schools, hospitals and restaurants. We also fundraise to directly benefit animals in need.
